                           Olena Shannon and Glenn Glazer

Meet the married sales team of Olena Shannon and Glenn Glazer.

( Olena was out showing homes on picture day ). Olena obtained a Masters Degree while growing up in Ukraine. After school she performed with an orchestra as both as a violinist and Vocalist. She also taught music and led a High School Choir.

After coming to the States, she has continued with her music lesson but also started in sales. Working in sales in South Florida at Armani for a few years she realized how much she enjoyed sales and helping people, led her to getting her Real Estate License.

Olena has had her license since 2019, and works hard to help you find, as she said in the clothing business “the right fit” in your Real Estate needs. She speaks English, Ukrainian and Russian.

Glenn has been in sales all his adult life. He came to Gainesville, Alachua County for school in 1976 and has seen it grow into what it is today. From his days as a waiter at Leonardo’s Pizza here in Gainesville, when one of his customers talked him into getting his license to sell insurance. From there to cars. Toyota, Chevrolet, Nissan (Datsun), then 20 years at Brasington Cadillac Oldsmobile here in Alachua County. With a break somewhere in between at Burdines at the old Gainesville Mall selling furniture. Also selling Mercedes and other high line automobiles along the way.

He received his Real Estate License in 1992 and dabbled in the field on and off on the side Then in 2018 turned to it full time. Working with DRHorton he was one of their top salespeople until he retired in2023. After realizing retiring aint all it seems to be and he can’t sit still, he decided to Join his wife and Glanzer Realty.

Together they have over 55 years of successful selling experience. Working with clients both seller and buyers. With a knowledge of how a sale should work, such as how to present a property, how to negotiate, where both parties are happy and how to do the paperwork, so nothing should go wrong.
